O People of the Book ........................

M. S. Sikder: M. S. Sikder: Duty of a Muslim: In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. All praise belongs to Allah,

O People of the Book! there has come to you Our Messenger who unfolds to you much of what you had kept hidden of the Book and passes over much. There has come to you indeed from Allah a Light and a clear Book. Thereby does Allah guide those who seek His pleasure on the paths of peace, and leads them out of O People of the book....O People of the Book ..........every kind of darkness into light by His will, and guides them to the right path. They have indeed disbelieved who say, ‘Surely, Allah is none but the Messiah, son of Mary.’ Say, ‘Who then has any power against Allah, if He desire to bring to naught the Messiah, son of Mary, and his mother and all those that are in the earth?’ And to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. He creates what He pleases; and Allah has power to do all things. – Al-Quran 5: 16-18.

And that is the recompense of wrongdoers." 5:30 And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers. 5:31  Then Allah sent a crow searching in the ground to show him how to hide the disgrace of his brother. He said, "O woe to me! Have I failed to be like this crow and hide the body of my brother?"And he became of the regretful. 5:32 Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.
