Our Lord............

M. S. Sikder: M. S. Sikder: Duty of a Muslim: In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.                                                                              

 ‘Our Lord, make us submissive to Thee and make of our offspring a people submissive to Thee. And show us our ways of worship, and turn to us with mercy; for Thou art Oft-Returning with compassion and Merciful.  ‘And, our Lord, raise up among them a Messenger from among themselves, who may recite to them Thy Signs and teach them the Book and Wisdom and may purify them; surely, Thou art the Mighty, the Wise.’  And who will turn away from the religion of Abraham but he who is foolish of mind? Him did We choose in this world, and in the next he will surely be among the righteous.  When his Lord said to him, ‘Submit,’ he said, ‘I have submitted to the Lord of the worlds.’  The same did Abraham enjoin upon his sons — and so did Jacob — saying: ‘O my sons, truly Allah has chosen this religion for you; so let not death overtake you except when you are in a state of submission.’  Were you present when death came to Jacob, when he said to his sons, ‘What will you worship after me?’ They answered, ‘We will worship thy God, the God of thy fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac, the One Allah; and to Him we submit ourselves.’ Those are a people that have passed away; for them is what they earned, and for you shall be what you earn; and you shall not be questioned as to what they did. And they say, ‘Be ye Jews or Christians that you may be rightly guided.’ Say: ‘Nay,follow ye the religion of Abraham who was ever inclined to Allah; he was not of those who set up gods with Allah.’ – The Holy Quran 02: 129 –136.http://info-sikder.blogspot.com,http:/www.ssplus.com

Sikder: Duty of a Muslim : "Bismillaaheer Rahmaneer Raheem" Those of you who turned their backs on the day when the two hosts met, surely it was Satan who sought to make them slip because of certain doings of theirs. But certainly Allah has already pardoned them. Verily, Allah is Most Forgiving, Forbearing. O you who believe! be not like those who have disbelieved, and who say of their brethren when they travel in the land or go forth to war: ‘Had they been with us, they would not have died or been slain.’ This is so, that Allah may make it a cause of regret in their hearts. And Allah gives life and causes death and Allah is Mindful of what you do. And if you are slain in the cause of Allah or you die, surely forgiveness from Allah and mercy shall be better than what they hoard. Doel(Magpie Robin) A sweet bird called doel is the national bird of  Bangladesh. Its color is a mixture of black and white. The doel is small in size and fickle in movement. In rural area of Bangladesh the doel is frequently seen. One of the brightest features  of the doel  is that it has an enchanting whistle playing off and on. The doel does not fly very high and likes to stay close to the earth. It feeds on insects. The Magpie Robin is the national bird of Bangladesh. Scientifically, it is called Copsychus Saularis. It is also known as Oriental Magpie Robin, Straits Robin & Magpie. Generally, it makes nest in the tropical southern Asia from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and east to China and Indonesia.
